Academy Award-winning animation studio Aardman is famous for its claymation/stop-motion animation productions, particularly its plasticine duo Wallace & Gromit.
Aardman was founded as a small backyard project by Peter Lord and David Sproxton in 1976 and has grown into an animation company known and loved by people worldwide. Peter and David's many memorable characters include the now legendary Morph, who appeared in BBC programme Take Hart before going on to have a series of his own. In 1985 they were joined by Nick Park, creator of Wallace and Gromit.
The studio has also produced Chicken Run, an animated film released worldwide in 2000, and TV series such as Creature Comforts and Angry Kid.
